News from Silicon Valley

I am out in Silicon Valley right now for KM World. This is my first time to San Jose and it is an interesting town. News today is Google bought Jotspot. This is another big acquisition for Google as it now adds a wiki portion to their host of of technology segments. Google is definitely ahead of the trend when it comes to understanding popular technology and acquiring them quickly.

On a side note MindTouch, another player in the wiki industry, will be presenting at KM world with IBM and will have a booth presence there. If any of my readers are in the San Jose area you should stop on by and say hi. In fact the first 3 people that stop by the booth to say hi will get a free coffee from starbucks on me. This will test the reach of my blog ;) Other than that I've been having a great time. I'm staying at a great hotel in downtown.
