I recently downloaded FireFox 3 beta portable and I am impressed with how much faster it is and the small features like removing the popup remember password dialog and instead having a non intrusive slide down dialog. Definitely give it a try. I'm looking forward to upgrading completely so that web apps like SalesForce will run faster.
